Today, we are still on the topic of the Day Master box. This post is especially for the Gui Water Day Master.
今天的话题还是环绕着日主。这一章是为癸水日主而写的。
Finally, we come to the last Day Master of the ten stems. The significant behaviour of this Day Master is "now you see it, now you don't". Just like a cloud, at this moment we see it there. But at the next, it might be at a different location with a different shape or maybe gone. This behaviour applies to the Gui Day Master's actions as well as ideas. Their promises might not be insured and the things they confirmed might not be validated too. They will always come out with last-minute excuses. Always double and triple confirm with a Gui Day Master on a date or a plan. Even on the moment to depart or execute a plan. Otherwise, it is just a waste of time and effort. Gui water can also be represented by morning dew, raindrop, and mist. They are good at nurturing because soil needs water to grow lives. They are very inspiring too because they have a clear mind when giving advice. As we know dew and cloud are made of pure water. A lot of times when talking to a Gui person, unconsciously we feel inspired. Just like a mist, when we feel its existence, it is already surrounding us.
I think we all agreed that Gui water is a kind of fine, clean and refreshing water. No doubt, a Gui person is detail-oriented, likes hygiene and has a calm mind. But that only happens when they are in perfect condition (good weather). When they are not (thunderstorm), they will be restrictive, emotional and pessimistic. They can be "sunny" this second and "thunderstorm" the next. These two conditions sometimes happen quite frequently and can drive us insane. We will also sometimes start to question if they are mentally ok? We feel that way because we cannot understand them. They are complex individuals and unpredictable just like the weather.
While we were kids, we like to draw. To draw a person daydreaming, we most often use the cloud. Gui people are like a cloud — they are full of creative imagination but some of them are unrealistic. They are very demanding in terms of feelings. To them, everything is about feelings. They can provide good feelings to people around them and romance to their lover. It is just like when we feel hot we wish for rain to cool down or when we are tired we spray mist on ourselves to feel good and refresh, or the morning dew gently sticks on a plant to nourish it. From here we can see the Gui Day Master is blessed with good people skills. Somehow people feel comfortable to be with them. They are like a people magnet, attracting more and more people towards them and slowly strengthening their social network.
Gui is a water element that represents wisdom. A Gui person is wise and perceptive. They are very sensitive to people and situations. They react faster compared to others when they feel things are not right. Let's use our logical mind to guess what a Gui Day Master likes to have in their BaZi Natal Chart. We know they are naturally-born philosophers, they use a lot of their mind power so they need to always be in tip-top condition with a clear mind. Among all kinds of Gui water, which one do you think is the purest and cleanest? In school experiments, to get the purest water we use a process called distillation. This is an action of purifying a liquid by using heating and cooling. But what we want to emphasize here is only the heating process where it can separate water from dirt. In nature, a similar process called evaporation where the Sun acts as a source of heat to move water vapour into the sky and form clouds. Bing (Sun) is what the Gui Day Master needs so their mind will not get polluted. Now, let's assume Gui Water has successfully become a cloud. How to make it useful? For clouds to be useful, it needs to turn itself into raindrops to wash away dust on plants and trees and also nourish them. Eventually, plants and trees grow into a forest to protect other lives. This is the greatest contribution of Gui in this nature. Trees are represented by Jia. In other words, if Jia exists in Gui Day Master's BaZi Natal Chart, it gives life mission to Gui person. Gui water likes to be evaporated but does not like the opposite process which is condensation. Why is it so? Because after condensation, there is a chance for Gui water to mix with dirt. This will affect their clear mind. In nature, metal attracts steam into water. In this case, Xin metal is the one that Gui water dislikes.
