I hope you all enjoy reading my previous post about the Ten Day Masters' personalities. By now, you should be able to have a more understanding of the people around you by checking on their Day Master. Unfortunately, that won't be enough. There are millions of populations on this planet and it is impossible to group everyone in just ten groups. Today we will add one more layer of information that will bring more uniqueness to each individual. The focus point for today's topic is the animal sign that sits right under the Day Master as highlighted in RED in the above BaZi template. We call this the Day Branch and it consists of 12 animal signs.
In the Chinese calendar, each year, each month, each day also represented by one animal sign. But for each month's animal sign will be categorized under one season. All in all, there are four seasons. Each season has three animal signs as follows (4 Seasons Chart):

When we look at the four seasons chart above, we will notice that each season can also be represented with five elements. Spring is the season auspicious for wood, fire auspicious in Summer, metal auspicious in Autumn and water auspicious in Winter. How about the earth element? The auspicious moment for the earth is the last month of each season. Let's analyze more, shall we? The first month of every season is the growth for the next season's element. When we arrive at the second month of each season, it is the peak for that season's element. As for the last month of each season, it is the storage of the previous season's element. If we arrange it nicely with a start and end phase full-cycle for the same element, we will have the following three-combinations chart.

Rest assured if at this point you have no idea of the things we discussed above because it will not affect today's topic. I just want to use the above 3 combinations' cycle chart to group all the 12 animal signs into The 4 Growths, The 4 Cardinals and The 4 Graveyards because each group carry their general behaviour in BaZi.
The 4 Growths (AKA Sky Horse):
Animal Sign: Tiger, Pig, Monkey, Snake.
Description: An animal sign that carries growth Qi in each cycle.
Behaviour: Qi during this period is not pure but very active. For those Day Masters that sit on the Sky Horse animal sign, in general, they are very active, like travelling or moving around, outspoken and act fast but hard to stay focus.
The 4 Cardinals (AKA Peach Blossom)
Animal Sign: Horse, Rabbit, Rat, Rooster.
Description: An animal sign that carries auspicious Qi in each cycle.
Behaviour: Qi during this period is very pure and is at its peak. People who sit on the peach blossom animal sign are very attractive in certain aspects. They can stay focus, are very opinionated but also stubborn.
The 4 Graveyards (AKA Storage)
Animal Sign: Dog, Goat, Dragon, Ox.
Description: An animal sign that carries dead Qi in each cycle.
Behaviour: Qi during this period is stagnant and is the mixture of Qi. As the name itself, we can foresee for that the Day Master who sits on the storage animal sign is slow, reserve, introvert, keeps a lot of stuff, especially old ones. They have a huge capacity to keep a lot of secrets or knowledge.
如果到了此刻您的脑袋还是空白一片，没关系，慢慢来。因为它不会影响今天的话题。我只是想借用以上的三合循环图来讲解十二个动物如何被纳入四生，四正和四墓而已。因为每个组别在八字里都带有各自一些共同的行为。
四生（又名驿马）：
动物：寅、亥、申、巳
描述：在每个循环中带有生气的动物。
行为：这段时期的气并非纯净，但很活跃。 通常，对于那些坐在驿马的日元，他们都非常活跃，喜欢旅行或四处走动，直言不讳，行动迅速，但很难保持专注。
四正（又名桃花）：
动物：午、卯、子、酉
描述：在每个循环中带有旺气的动物。
行为：在此期间，气是非常纯净的，并且处于鼎盛时期。 坐在桃花动物上的人在某些方面很有吸引力。 他们可以保持专注，有己见，但固执。
四墓（又名库）：
动物：辰、戌、丑、未
描述：在每个循环中带有死气的动物。
